How to get your money back, what you are entitled to, and what you give up when you download.
Go to your licences page and open a dispute, within 14 days of purchase. The author is notified and can respond. It is faster than going through your bank, and a chargeback blocks this procedure instead of speeding it up.
If you and the author do not agree, Addons Market settles it. The author cannot refuse your refund on their own, and cannot delay it indefinitely: that is the point of holding the money for the dispute window.
Before your first download we ask you to consent to immediate delivery, and that consent ends your 14-day right of withdrawal. If you decline, the download does not start and the right is preserved. We tell you this before you click, not afterwards.
Your legal guarantee of conformity. A product that does not work, is unusable, or does not match its description entitles you to a fix, a replacement or a refund — whatever you consented to at download, and whatever any clause says. That right cannot be signed away.
Where the product is at fault, everything: the author’s price and our service fee. Where a refund is a gesture and the product is not in question, the service fee may be retained — and we say so rather than hide it in a clause.
