A marketplace for developers that takes no commission on what they sell.
That a developer, anywhere in the world, should actually live off what they build. On the largest marketplaces, between half and four fifths of the price goes to the platform: to earn the same income, a developer has to sell two to five times more. The work is the same, the code is the same, only the share changes. We take none of it. An author who sells for 10 000 € here receives 10 000 €, and we are paid by the buyer, separately.
On 1 July 2026, Envato moved every author to a flat 50 % fee; authors who had been keeping up to 87.5 % saw their income halved overnight. TemplateMonster cut its authors to 20 % the same day. Addons Market was built on the opposite premise: the person who writes the code should keep the price they set for it.
Three things decide most of our choices. The price an author sets is theirs, entirely. Anything a buyer needs to judge a purchase is shown before the purchase, not after. And when a figure cannot be stated honestly, it is left out rather than estimated — which is why you will not find a visitor counter or a download total anywhere on this site yet.
A licence key, an immediate download, and at least 12 months of updates. The file is watermarked to you and the link is single-use. If the product does not work, you open a dispute and we settle it — not the author. Your legal guarantee of conformity survives everything, including the waiver you sign to download immediately.
The price they set, the intellectual property, the customer relationship and the freedom to sell the same product anywhere else. The money lands on their own Stripe account, not ours, and is released once the dispute window has closed. We hold nothing, and we could not keep it if we wanted to.
You publish when your product is ready, not when a schedule says so. There is no minimum number of items, no obligation to release updates on a rhythm we set, and nothing stops you selling the same product on your own site or on a competing marketplace the same day. Your account stays open whether you publish once a week or once a year.
A service fee paid by the buyer, on top of the author’s price, shown separately before payment. That is our entire income. We take nothing from the author’s price, we charge nothing to open or keep an account, and we bear the payment processing and currency conversion costs ourselves.
A small operation, deliberately. Products are reviewed by a person, disputes are settled by a person, author accounts are verified by a person. No algorithm decides whether your product goes live or whether a buyer gets refunded. The legal entity behind the brand is named in our terms of sale, with its address.
Invent ratings, inflate counters, or claim a catalogue bigger than it is. Sell a badge that looks like a quality label. Place paid results among ordinary ones without saying so. Take a commission later once authors are locked in. If any of that changes, it will be announced, not discovered.
